DMCC metro station (R36) is on the Red Line in Nol Zone 2, situated at the heart of the Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) district. The station serves the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre free zone — the UAE's largest free zone by company count with over 21,000 registered businesses — as well as the large residential and mixed-use JLT cluster. The metro dmcc red line is the primary connection for both DMCC office workers and JLT residents to the broader Dubai Metro network. The station is elevated with platform doors, Gold Class (Car 1), and a Women and Children's car (Car 3).

Jumeirah Lakes Towers is a large-scale mixed-use development by Nakheel and DMCC Authority along Sheikh Zayed Road, consisting of 80 towers organised in 26 alphabetically-named clusters around three man-made lakes: Cluster Lake, Jumeirah Island Lake, and Jumeirah Islands Lake. The development was built in the mid-2000s and attracted a mix of corporate offices, residential apartments, hotels, and a dense ground-level retail and dining scene.

Here is a straightforward guide to entering, navigating, and exiting DMCC Metro Station Station whether you are a first-time visitor or a regular commuter.

Look for the Dubai Metro logo (red M on white background) on street signage. DMCC Metro Station has multiple exits — check which exit is closest to your destination before entering. Exit maps are displayed at the top of the stairs and beside the gates.

Tap your Silver or Gold Nol Card on the reader at the entrance gate. The gate will display your remaining balance. If your balance is below AED 3.00 the gate will not open — top up at the vending machines beside the gates before entering.

Check the overhead direction signs on the platform. On the Red Line trains run towards Centrepoint (Rashidiya) in one direction and towards UAE Exchange / Expo City in the other. On the Green Line trains run towards Etisalat by e& or towards Creek. Confirm your direction on the station map before the train arrives.

Stand behind the yellow safety line until the train stops and doors open. Let passengers exit first then board. Tap your Nol Card at the exit gates at your destination — forgetting to tap out results in the maximum fare being charged for that journey.
