Burj Khalifa / Dubai Mall Station (R25) is one of the busiest and most iconic stops on the Dubai Metro Red Line, serving the heart of Downtown Dubai — the world's most visited urban district. Situated on Sheikh Zayed Road, the elevated station provides swift access to a trio of global landmarks: the Burj Khalifa (the world's tallest building at 828 metres), The Dubai Mall (the world's largest shopping mall by total area), and The Dubai Fountain (the world's largest choreographed fountain).
Opened in September 2010, the station is approximately 500 metres from the base of the Burj Khalifa. A free, air-conditioned shuttle bus service runs every 10 minutes from the station exit to Dubai Mall's Fashion Avenue entrance. The station features Gold Class carriages, a dedicated Women and Children cabin, and full wheelchair accessibility with lifts and ramps throughout.
For travellers, R25 is the most efficient way to reach the Downtown cluster from Dubai International Airport (approx. 22 minutes, one train, no changes required). It is also ideal for business travellers heading to the DIFC Gate Village and Emaar's office towers, as well as tourists planning to watch the Dubai Fountain shows or dine at Atmosphere Restaurant on the 122nd floor of the Burj Khalifa.

By Bus
Routes X28, X29 (from Deira/Airport). Route 27 (Business Bay). Dubai Mall free shuttle bus from the metro station runs every 10 min to Fashion Avenue entrance.

Book Burj Khalifa Online
Pre-book At the Top tickets at burjkhalifa.ae to save 30–50% vs. walk-up price. Prime sunset time slots (16:30–18:00) sell out weeks ahead, especially during cooler months (Oct–Apr).
Best Time for the Fountain
Shows run at 18:00 then every 30 minutes until midnight. The 18:00 golden-hour show offers the most spectacular photography light with the Burj Khalifa glowing behind the jets.
Take the Free Shuttle Bus
The Dubai Mall free shuttle runs every 10 minutes from the metro exit to Fashion Avenue entrance. Air-conditioned, always on time, and much easier than walking in summer heat.
