About Energy Metro Station
Energy metro station (R40) is a station on the Dubai Metro Red Line in Zone 3, located along the Jebel Ali corridor in the south-western part of Dubai. The station serves the Al Furjan South residential community and the Jebel Ali Village neighbourhood, and acts as a transit point between the main city and the industrial and logistics hub at Jebel Ali Port. Like several other Dubai Metro stations, it carries a corporate name obtained through RTA's naming rights programme — a common arrangement on the Red Line's outer extension.
About Al Furjan South & Jebel Ali Village — Energy Metro Station Area
Al Furjan South is a planned residential community that forms the southern extension of the larger Al Furjan development. Unlike the denser clusters to the north, Al Furjan South has a lower-rise character with townhouses and mid-rise apartment blocks arranged around open landscaped areas. The community is primarily home to expatriate families and young professionals who prioritise quieter surroundings and more space than central Dubai offers, while still maintaining metro access into the city.
