About Onpassive Metro Station
Onpassive Metro Station (R29) is an elevated station on the Dubai Metro Red Line, positioned in Nol Zone 2 and serving the Al Quoz district — Dubai's main arts and industrial corridor between Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Wasl Road. The station takes its name from Onpassive, a digital technology company that purchased the naming rights. The station is the closest metro access point to Alserkal Avenue, Dubai's most concentrated cluster of contemporary art galleries and creative industry studios.
About Al Quoz — Onpassive Metro Station Area
Al Quoz is one of Dubai's most characterful districts — a former industrial zone that has quietly evolved into the city's creative heartland without losing its warehouse roots. The onpassive metro station sits at the district's northern edge, giving metro riders access to a 4 square kilometre area that ranges from budget car repair workshops at street level to gallery spaces hosting international contemporary art behind the same rolled-steel shutters. Alserkal Avenue, 700 metres from the station, anchors the cultural end: 50+ galleries, the Cinema Akil arthouse cinema, fitness studios, and independent coffee roasters occupy converted warehouse units in a walkable cluster.
