About The Gardens Metro Station
The Gardens Metro Station (R70) is an elevated station on the Route 2020 Line, serving the Jebel Ali and Gardens residential district in Nol Zone 3. It is the first stop on the Route 2020 branch after diverging from the main Red Line at Sobha Realty (R36), making it the metro gateway for The Gardens and nearby Discovery Gardens communities. The station name refers to The Gardens residential development that occupies the land immediately surrounding it.
About The Gardens & Jebel Ali — Gardens Metro Station Area
The Gardens is a villa and townhouse community developed by Nakheel in the Jebel Ali district — one of Dubai's first comprehensively planned low-rise residential suburbs outside the central SZR corridor. The community covers approximately 2 square kilometres with internal parks, a supermarket, a community club, a mosque, and a small retail strip. The the gardens metro station has transformed commuting here: journeys to Downtown Dubai that previously required an hour-long bus ride to a Red Line station now take under 40 minutes by metro with a transfer at Sobha Realty.
