About Deira City Center Metro Station — Red Line, Zone 1
Deira city center metro station (R22) is on the Red Line in Nol Zone 1, in the Port Saeed district of Deira. The station is directly integrated with Deira City Centre mall — one of Dubai's oldest and most frequented shopping centres, opened in 1995 by Majid Al Futtaim. Exit 4 of the station connects directly into the mall via a covered link, making it one of the most convenient mall metro connections on the network. The station is elevated with platform doors, Gold Class (Car 1), and a Women and Children's car (Car 3).
About Port Saeed — Deira City Center Metro Station Area
Port Saeed is a commercial and mixed-use sub-district on the Deira side of the Creek, developed as part of the broader Deira modernisation. The district contains the Deira City Centre mall complex, several business towers, the Hyatt Regency hotel, and the older hotel and apartment strip running along the Corniche Road beside the Creek. It is positioned between the historic souq districts of Al Ras and Naif to the west and the airport to the east.

Tap your Nol Card at the exit gates and follow the overhead signs for "Deira City Centre mall". There are multiple exits at this station — make sure you follow the correct signs for the mall entrance rather than the street exits.

A covered air-conditioned walkway or bridge connects directly to the mall entrance. No outdoor walking is required. The link is accessible at all hours that the metro operates and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

The walkway leads you directly into Deira City Centre mall. From here all mall facilities, restaurants, and attractions are accessible. Walk time from metro gates to inside the mall is approximately 3–6 minutes.

To return to the metro follow the "Metro Station" signs inside the mall. Last trains depart at approximately 00:00 Sunday to Thursday and Saturday, and at 01:00 on Fridays. Check the RTA Dubai app for the next departure time before leaving the mall.
