The station sits in Al Qusais at the northern edge of Dubai's metro network, closest to the Dubai–Sharjah border. About Al Qusais North — Etisalat by e& Metro Station Area
The area around Etisalat by e& Metro Station is the northernmost part of Al Qusais, pressed against the Dubai–Sharjah boundary. The neighbourhood is a mix of residential apartment buildings, light commercial streets, the e& telecommunications campus and the Sharjah coach terminal — a corridor that functions more as a transit gateway than a destination in its own right.
