About Al Qusais Metro Station
Al Qusais Metro Station (G12) is on the Green Line, serving one of Dubai's largest residential districts in Zone 2. The station sits at the centre of Al Qusais — a densely populated area covering three sub-districts (Al Qusais 1, 2 and 3) that is home to a large South Asian and Arab community. For residents between the Dubai–Sharjah border and Dubai International Airport, this station is the primary entry point into the city's metro network.
About Al Qusais — Al Qusais Metro Station Area
Al Qusais is one of Dubai's older planned residential areas, developed from the 1970s onward to house workers employed across the city's industrial and commercial sectors. The district today is a mix of mid-rise apartment blocks, grocery stores, clinics and community mosques spread across a grid of residential streets. Al Qusais Metro Station (G12) places residents of this area on the Green Line within easy reach of Union Station, BurJuman and, via one change, the airport and city centre.
