About Al Ghubaiba Metro Station
Al Ghubaiba Metro Station (also spelled Al Ghudaiba, station code G24) is on the Green Line in the heart of Bur Dubai's historic waterfront district. It is one of Dubai's most connected public transport hubs: Al Ghubaiba Bus Station — the city's main terminal for inter-emirate coaches to Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Al Ain and Oman — is a short walk from the station exit. The Al Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station, serving Dubai Creek ferries and water taxis to Dubai Marina and Sharjah, is also within walking distance.
The surrounding Bur Dubai area is rich in heritage. The Al Fahidi Historic District (Bastakiya), the Textile Souq, and the Dubai Museum are all reachable on foot, making this station a practical starting point for exploring old Dubai. The Bur Dubai Abra station on the Dubai Creek is nearby for traditional wooden boat crossings to Deira.
